Natalie Poss

Hi! My name is Natalie Poss and I am a Marketing major from Longview, Texas. Some of my favorite things include spontaneous decision making, exercising, being outside, laughter, dancing, deep conversations, and good food.

Why did you join the Pursuit Ministries?

I loved the idea of being part of an organization whose goal was to point others to Jesus, and Pursuit is all about guiding girls through their walk with Christ!

What is your favorite bible verse and why?

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” As a perfectionist, this verse reminds me to not lean on my own strength and to be thankful for times when I can see God at work in my life. His power is made perfect in my weakness, so I will praise Him when I face hard times, because that is when His power is truly evident.

Words of encouragement for High School/Middle School Girls:

It’s okay to be different. When the world feeds you lies about who you should be, remember who you are in Christ and know that you are so valuable. When you are tempted to compromise who you are or what you believe in to feel loved and accepted, remember that Jesus is better than anything this world has to offer and that you are already loved and accepted by the God of the universe! Find rest in how God sees you and be filled with joy when you remember how truly loved you are.
